How Nadi Astrology Reading Works
The Nadi Astrology procedure follows a traditional step-by-step method designed to identify the palm-leaf manuscript connected with the seeker. The process usually begins with the thumb impression — traditionally the right thumb for men and the left thumb for women. Based on the thumb pattern, the relevant bundle of palm leaves is selected and the search begins. A series of identification questions is then asked to verify personal details without revealing them in advance. When the answers consistently match, the corresponding palm leaf is identified and confirmed for the seeker.
The same traditional procedure can be followed both through an in-person consultation at our Nadi Astrology Center and through an online consultation for seekers who are unable to visit directly. During an in-person reading, the palm-leaf search, verification and explanation are carried out at the center. For an online consultation, the required thumb impression and basic details are shared securely, after which the palm-leaf search and identification process is completed remotely. Once the correct leaf is confirmed, the reading is explained through an online call or consultation, covering areas such as family, marriage, career, business, education, finances, spiritual growth and other important aspects of life.
After the matching palm leaf has been identified, the contents are interpreted according to the traditional Nadi method. Depending on the available manuscript and the type of reading selected, the consultation may include insights related to the seeker’s past, present circumstances and possible future directions. Where applicable, traditional spiritual guidance or remedies may also be explained. Whether the consultation is conducted online or in person, the objective is to preserve the authenticity of the traditional process while making Nadi Astrology accessible, clear and convenient for seekers from India and around the world.
